what is the name of the treat you will give him or her
where do you buy gloves like that? I need a pair, and how much are they???
I often wonder how these dogs get so aggressive! I wonder if the owner has or does traumatise them or they’ve had a bad experience.
@LesPaulRockerProduct they wont stop being aggressive at random dogs that come in the house…. they are just trying to protect the house and they think they are the boss of the house
how do i get my dog to stop acting aggressive to dogs that come into our house?
The first dog has issues…he deliberately enjoys biting. He is making a game out of it. Wow.
I like your methods! I think the gloves idea works well. I have my own amateur videos showing how I helped my dog, but I realized every dog is different and sometimes gloves or other methods are needed.
@angelt703 Thats a common misconception actually. I used to believe the same thing. What happens though is if you change the behaviour, it leads to a change of the emotional state behind the behaviour. I believe what they where doing was a combination of basically letting the dog see that biting gets you no where, and when you back off, you get a tasty treat! So hand coming towards you no only doesn’t leave when you bite it, but that hand also equals good things such as food.
I do not agree with the first dogs food aggression. It seems that when after he attacks your hand, you open it up almost right after for a food reward saying good boy? Isnt this just re-enforcing his bad behavior?
LOL “Veterinarians are good!!” in the background for the dog with the checkup phobia
SO amazing! lolz thanks for the great video!
While I agree with the reward based training I do see some possible issues with the first dog continuing to react. The more a dog reacts, the lower the threshold each successive time. The first dog kept escalating his bite intensity. With time, the dog may bite less, but there’s a possibility that the actual bite intensity could increase. Interesting use of the protective padding.

@Gippygoosehead i agree
Awesome stuff…wish I could get my Deaf border collie mix to not try and eat strangers or cats!!
I like this training! I would do it similar.
I dont think it’s the basement itself she’s afraid of but if so, how might i help fix that as well??? that is where my room is and i would love to have her with me down there if i can just cure her fear of it.
hi. i have a question for you. you mentioned fear is easily fixed with dogs. My dog is very afraid of going down our flight of stairs. she does just fine going down the 3 steps to our front deck i think because they’re very long, wide steps but when it comes to going down the stairs to the basement, she refuses. she’s not aggressive in anyway about it but she just will not go down unless you literally pick her up and carry her down and then, if you let her, she races back up. any advice?
welcome to peekskill!
my home town
@Gippygoosehead Cesar Milan makes it look so easy.
i would bite you if i was that dog.
amazin how u taught the dog not to go after the toy…congrats
Excelent video!!!
I love how in the back of the room on the white board with the yellow lab it says ,”Veternarians are good!!”…..as if the dog can read -_-
but cute <3
I find an electric dog collar works wonders with dogs that misbehave. Try it.
