Afghan blast kills area man
A Marine who attended high school in Fort Wayne had been in Afghanistan only about six weeks before he and his bomb-sniffing dog were killed in an explosion Tuesday, his sister said.

Bay area K-9s work with world-renown dog trainer
Nokomis, Florida — K-9s from 10 different Florida law enforcement agencies got special training today with a world renown dog trainer. Twenty-eight K-9 officers and their dogs are taking part in a two day event working with Thomas Haas.
