Retired cops take on Mexican bandidos
A retired Niagara Falls, Ont., couple who were targeted by rifle-toting thugs in Mexico outsmarted their attackers by ramming their motorhome into the bandits’ car and leading them on a wild chase that ended in a scrap at a gas station.

Lake County native to take part in Alaska’s ‘Yukon Quest’
UPPER LAKE, Calif. – A young woman who grew up in Lake County will take part in a famed sled dog race early next year. Kyla Durham, who grew up on Clover Creek Family Farm in Upper Lake, will compete in the 2011 Yukon Quest, a race which may be even more arduous than the Iditarod.

Take with Your Small Dog Everywhere
11 year old cross terriers ……..would anti barking collar hurt them ? if not what is the best?please advise.they howl when left alone.and if let out they bark quite badly at people going past.when door goes its a race beetween them to get there and bark the loudest i have to hold them back to answer door.i have had them from pups and maybe i have let them develop bad habits but i have a new neighbour who is threatining court action unless i can keep them quiet when im out at work.
